The more appropriate thing to do is factionalize the DRs. Push the Mullah Amen supporting DR talking heads to join with MAGA dissidents and combine with the Mestizo Mullahs to form a Mestizo Mullah Amen coalition. In contrast, the Patriot DRs would consist of most of the rank and file, some of the older talking heads still around to be our senior NCO types, and some newer voices in leadership. So much wrong with this interpretation. First, the Parliament of Iran ordered the Straights closed leaving it up to the Supreme Leader, The Ayatollah to execute or merely threaten in negotiations. This is great gamesmanship by Iran. Its an asymmetrical counter offensive. It strikes economically rather than militarily. It also leaves it up to the Ayatollah. The later now has something to negotiate with Trump. Good move. It also suggests some reasonableness on the Iranians part.
